Smuggler Busted Sneaking Muslims Across US/Mexico Border

President Trump was right.

Muslims are crossing the US/Mexico border.

Not only is our nation’s sovereignty at risk without a strong border, but also the safety and well-being of each American citizen are at stake.

And, it’s not just from what you’d expect – drugs, sex trafficking, and gangbangers.

Now, we’re learning that Muslims are being smuggled across the border, in large numbers and it’s been happening for a long time.

A Pakistani citizen has pleaded guilty to a charge of smuggling illegal aliens from Pakistan and other countries into the U.S. via the Mexican border.

Sharafat Ali Khan, 32, pleaded guilty in a D.C. federal court Wednesday to one count of conspiracy to smuggle undocumented migrants into the U.S. for profit. The Washington Times reported that he will be sentenced this summer and could get up to 46 months in prison, though a lesser sentence is likely.

The Times reported that Khan, a former resident of Brazil, ran “one of the Western Hemisphere’s more flagrant alien smuggling operations,” sneaking dozens of illegal immigrants from terrorism-connected countries into the U.S. from 2014 to 2016.

Court documents revealed the complexity of Kahn’s operation, which included moving illegal immigrants from Afghanistan, Pakistan, Peru and other countries through Brazil to Central America and eventually to Mexico before they would cross the U.S. southern border, Breitbart reported. For some, the journey took as long as nine months.

Kahn reportedly received between $3,000 and $15,000 per immigrant smuggled.

Khan also admitted that he had managed safe houses for migrants and arranged a network of associates to help him all along the smuggling route.

Khan reportedly told District Judge Reggie B. Walton he wanted to stay in the U.S. after serving his sentence, but Walton had other another plan.

“That’s not part of the agreement,” Walton said, having Khan sign paperwork promising to assist in his own deportation once his sentence is completed.

How unfortunate that it is even necessary to argue about such a thing. We can all hope that President Donald Trump’s insistence on enforcing the law will restore sanity.
